About the Speakers:
Facades and energy are Eliot’s passion. He has an eclectic background spanning 30 years – from manufacturing Insulated Glass Units to testing Building Envelopes. He has worn many hats, beginning his journey in the construction industry repairing windows, then moving on to glass fabrication, consulting, and testing. He had the privilege of working with Israel Berger as a Senior Consultant and with pioneers of the unitized curtainwall business like Werner Kloke and Ladislav Horvath. Eliot is a voting member of ASTM Committees D01, E05, E6 and E36 and a member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA). Eliot is also a member of the NYC Department of Buildings Advisory Committees for Chapter 17 (Special Inspections and Testing), the NYC Façade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) and the NYC Energy Conservation Code.
