Join the AIANY Cultural Facilities Committee for “Transforming Lives, Practices and Places,” a lively breakfast discussion about how museums and the architects who design them are transforming lives, practices, and places.
Two days prior to this event, leading museum professionals will examine the theme of transformation at the MuseumNext conference in Tribeca. They will discuss how museums are changing lives and creating positive social impact, and share how they are revamping their spaces and practices.
At this breakfast, attendees will review key takeaways from MuseumNext with Jim Richardson, founder of MuseumNext, and a panel of dynamic speakers, including Alexander Lamis, FAIA, of Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and Ann K. Webster of the Brooklyn Museum. These professionals will also share their experiences and transformative museum projects in a conversation moderated by Priya Sircar from Lord Cultural Resources.
