Special Initiatives
Since the 1980s, we have gathered architects, designers and industry professionals together for Common Bond (formerly Heritage Ball), a fundraising gala that attracts hundreds of guests.
The event, while honoring the world-renowned architectural history of New York City, serves as the single largest funding source for the Center for Architecture, allowing the organization to fulfill its mission to educate the public about the value of architecture and design alongside its partner, AIA New York. Besides offering a unique opportunity for professional networking, the event provides critical funding for the exhibitions, programs, scholarships, and activities of the Center for Architecture, including our wonderful K-12 education programs.
From 9pm–12am, we are pleased to host the official After Party for more networking, gourmet bites, dancing, and libations!
Please reach out to development@aiany.org with questions.
